OUR SERVICES

Guardianships

A guardianship order allows someone to step in and make decisions on behalf of an Adult who does not have the capacity to do so for themselves. This may include paying bills, dealing with bank accounts or making decisions about care and personal welfare matters. A Guardianship order is granted by the Court. There is funding available for certain cases.

Power of Attorney

A Power of Attorney is a legal document that allows someone that you trust to make decisions on your behalf in the event that you become incapable of making decisions about your own affairs. A Power of Attorney can also allow that person to support you to manage your finances immediately or only once you have lost capacity. Having a Power of Attorney will give you peace of mind. There is funding available in certain cases.

Advance Directive

An advance directive is a written statement of your wishes to refuse certain treatment in the future, sometimes known as a living will.It is a way of making sure that everyone knows what treatment you do not want to have, if you become unable to make your own decisions in the future. You can make an advance directive if you are aged 16 or over, and are able to understand what it is and what it means for you.

Simple Wills

A will is in an important document that will detail your wishes on how you want your property and savings to be distributed after you die.
